About the event

IMPORTANT: This is a two-day (16-hour) course.

Day 1 is on 1/9/2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM in NOVATO

Day 2 is on 1/10/2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM at USI IN CONCORD


This course satisfies BSIS requirements for an Exposed Firearms Permit. Paladin Shield is an approved Firearms Training Facility (TFF 1710) and instruction is provided by Daniel Butler, a BSIS certified firearms instructor (TIF 2861). Please remember that you must complete an "Firearms Assessment" aka Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (16pf) prior to submitting your Firearms Permit Initial Application to BSIS.


Day 1:

This encompasses 8 hours of classroom instruction with a 30 minute lunch break. The presentations cover the material within the BSIS Firearms Training Manual.
